We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Remote Workshop on Writing Proposals (R6), themed “How to Write a Proposal for Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Actions (JMA) in the EU–Nigerian Context.” The two-day virtual training brought together Nigerian academics and practitioners committed to enhancing their competitiveness in Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Action funding opportunities.

The workshop introduced participants to the core elements of JMA proposal development, including understanding call requirements, conducting relevance and needs analysis, designing impactful project concepts, building effective consortia, and preparing strong budgets. Participants also engaged in hands-on exercises to draft concept notes for Jean Monnet Modules, Chairs, and Centres of Excellence, while learning how to navigate the EU Funding and Tenders Portal.

The training was designed to strengthen the capacity of Nigerian higher education institutions to submit high-quality JMA proposals aligned with EU expectations and national priorities.
